Our History

Quantum Plus was formed in 1999 by owner John Clemmow, who had worked in the IT industry for 20 years, having held key leadership roles in both outsourcing organisations and customers going through the outsourcing process. He built an outstanding track record where he delivered significant change programmes, performance improvement and savings for organisations.

Whilst working with these organisations, it became clear to John that there was a requirement in the market for an advisory that could provide companies with the guidance and support they required to put in place successful outsourcing deals.

Originally based in Birmingham, Quantum Plus expanded and moved its head office to charming Stratford-upon-Avon in 2004.

In 2005 Quantum Plus achieved significant recognition when it won the National Outsourcing Association’s (NOA) “Outsourcing Advisor of the Year” award which assesses company personality, the ability to capture innovation, and overall contribution to the outsourcing industry.

Building on this success, in October 2006 Quantum Plus achieved further recognition at the NOA awards in partnership with Mapeley, a market-leading property investment company, when it was jointly awarded the “Best Use of Outsourcing by an SME”.

Since 2007, the company has continued to grow and John is still very actively involved in the day to day running of the business. In November of 2011 Julie Wilkerson joined the team at Quantum Plus from a global sourcing role at Ernst and Young, adding her considerable experience in stratgeic sourcing and complex transformation to the team.
